Home Again, Home Again

Just back from a few days away. We left behind torrential rain, flooded fields and closed roads.

We came back to cold, bright winter days. Yesterday we got out both morning and afternoon, beating the bounds in both Eaves Wood and Woodwell.

We had similar weather whilst we were away in Galloway, of which more later. Here’s a taster of a very tame robin we encountered:

    It’s always shocking to see that my poor Brit friends don’t recognize a robin when they see one.

    Not sure what that is, but I’m sure it would never fit Emily’s description of a “robin.”
