Meall Dhamh

Or Another Crianlarich Weekend II

That’s it there – the knobble on the ridge just before the snow and cloud envelope the bulk of Cruach Ardrain behind. I’m sure that for most walkers Meall Dhamh (814m) is a soon forgotten stepping-stone on their way to the Munro, but in low cloud and after the exertions of the day before it was a sufficient target for me.

As R and I descended back through the forestry, the cloud was lifting and Cruach Ardrain eventually made an appearance.

Ben More, the white building on the right is the Ben More Lodge Hotel where we stay on our annual visit.
