This little outing has appeared on the blog many times before. These photos are from the Monday immediately after our Howgill camping trip. A had dance lessons, which meant I had a two hour window and this walk proved to be easily manageable in that time frame, actually with time to spare without hurrying unduly. A perfect, peaceful leg stretcher.

  1. Now there is somewhere I do remember walking with you. Once on a nice day and once in the rain. It the first time I realized what Burdock looks like, an important moment for someone who grew up drinking Dandelion and Burdock pop, poor mans cola.
    Nice walk as well 😀

By coincidence I was reading about Dandelion and Burdock today – made (traditionally) with the roots of both plants. Were you with me when I saw Salmon leaping the falls there?

Seen them there twice, but don’t think I’ve seen any since. The falls near Settle are supposed to be good, in the Autumn after rain. One day.
