Walking Blues

Another BWOO, with a blue sky wander following rugby at Kirkby.

This time I was rushing back for a much better reason. I was only at home very briefly before heading out again to see The John Verity Band play at the Silverdale Hotel.

Unlike the rugby, this was well worth curtailing a walk for. They’re back in Silverdale on October the 14th and probably playing somewhere near you sometime soon (if you’re in the UK anyway).

Clever heh? Well, not very. Nearly 1100 posts in, still haven’t run-out of titles. Just good ones. I’m also going to take this opportunity to say that I realise that Cocaine is a J.J.Cale song and not an Eric Clapton cover. I make enough mistakes of my own without being lumbered with somebody else’s. I think you would like the John Verity band, live it sounds fantastic. It seems like they will be playing a couple of times a year in Silverdale, so I’ll have to keep you posted. Only problem is, it always seems to be a Sunday evening.
